What began as a globally-adopted, paper-based worksheet has evolved into a fun chatbot application and become a leading resource for pediatric clinicians in the industry. The breakout resource from the Meg Foundation, a worksheet for children to create a Poke Plan, is one of the world’s most adopted resources for helping families and clinicians mitigate distress during needle-related procedures. It has thousands of global users and is endorsed by some of the world’s best pediatric healthcare providers.
The Meg Foundation collaborated with Comfort Quest to help define new digital experiences that empower children and their families facing scary medical procedures. Together, we shipped the SuperMeg Poke Plan, beating expectations and generating thousands of procedural plans within a year. Next, we shipped a Spanish alternative that makes the resource more accessible across the globe. And we helped parents and children own the conversation by delivering alternative pathways in the application for families short on time.
